On the last day of 2018 Brno Zoo kept 2218 animals of 408 species. Among them were 30 taxa of mammals, birds and reptiles, whose breeding is managed by European breeding programs for conserving endangered species (EEP). In Brno Zoo in 2018, 415 pups were born.
